FAQ
Clearly
explained.
What does aesthetic dentistry include?
Aesthetic dentistry connects the shape, colour, surface and proportions of the teeth with the gums, lip line and function. Depending on the findings, bleaching, additive composite corrections, non-prep veneers, partial restorations or more complex rehabilitation may be considered.
Do veneers always require grinding the teeth?
No. With suitable tooth positions and sufficient enamel, additive non-prep or minimal-prep concepts may be possible. Whether this is medically and aesthetically appropriate is decided through individual examination and planning.
Why is the bite examined during aesthetic treatment?
Tooth contacts, movement and loading affect longevity, comfort and shape. Especially with wear or extensive veneer restorations, function must be assessed diagnostically before permanent changes.
